1. Acceptance of Terms
By using SML Locum Dental, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Services Provided
We provide staffing services connecting dental practices with qualified professionals across the UK.
3. For Dental Practices
Bookings are not guaranteed until confirmed
Accurate information must be provided
Practices must ensure safe working conditions
4. For Dental Professionals
Must hold valid qualifications and registrations
Must provide accurate information
Must comply with GDC regulations
5. Accuracy of Information
False information may result in termination of services.
6. Limitation of Liability
We act as an intermediary and cannot guarantee placement suitability.
7. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Minimum Booking Period
Minimum booking is 4 hours.
2. Booking Confirmation
Bookings are confirmed only via written email confirmation. We aim to respond within 24 hours.
3. Pricing & Rates
Rates vary depending on:
Day of the week
Time of day
Bank holidays
All rates are confirmed in writing.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due within 3 days of the invoice date
Invoices are issued after completion of the booking and include:
Hours worked
Rates applied
Total amount due
Payment instructions
Late payment may result in interest and suspension of services.
5. Cancellation Policy
48+ hours: No fee
24–48 hours: 50% fee
Under 24 hours: 100% fee
No-show: Full charge applies
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
6. Changes to Bookings
Subject to availability. Less than 48 hours’ notice may incur fees.
7. Timesheets & Hours
Start/finish times must be confirmed
Breaks must be recorded
Disputes must be raised within 48 hours.
8. Practice Responsibilities
Provide supervision
Maintain safe conditions
Provide PPE
Communicate procedures
Treat staff professionally
9. Professional Conduct
Concerns must be reported immediately.
10. Liability
Practices remain responsible for clinical work.
